We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented VMC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines, ensuring precision machining, maintaining quality standards, and achieving production targets. Candidates with experience in CNC machining and engineering drawing interpretation will be preferred. VMC Operators are expected to set up machines, monitor machining processes, inspect finished components, and perform routine maintenance to ensure efficient production.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor VMC machines efficiently.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Set up tools, fixtures, and workpieces on VMC machines.
• Conduct quality inspections using measuring instruments.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy of machined components.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Follow workplace safety standards and manufacturing procedures.
• Maintain production records and machine logs.

Requirements

• ITI, Diploma, or relevant technical qualification.
• Experience in CNC/VMC machine operations.
• Knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers and Micrometers.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Understanding of machining processes and tooling.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.

• CNC Programming basics.

• Knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens, or Mitsubishi controllers.
